Custom Offers for Customers via RSS

Tampa, Florida (April 10, 2006) - Boson announced a website addition that will provide customers with custom offers based on their purchase and license history with Boson.  These offers can be accessed via the customer's Boson Online Account page at www.boson.com/Account or via a customized RSS feed.

"We appreciate our customers and want to provide them with as much value as possible," said Jon Van Vuren, Boson Operations Manager. "These offers allow us to provide easy upgrade paths for customers who may have older versions of products or who became Boson customers via software registered in Cisco Press' books."

Once logged in to their Boson Online Account, customers can access their special offers by clicking the 'Special Offers' tab on the account page.  That tab also explains how to subscribe to the offer feed via RSS. 

"With RSS, the customer doesn't have to remember to check his offers on our site," said Van Vuren.  "Instead, the offers come to him."

Boson will manage all product upgrade paths via the special offers vehicle. For example, customers who purchased the NetSim for CCNA product can upgrade to the NetSim for CCNP product for a customers-only price.
