Nashville, Tennessee, June 12, 2007 - Boson Software, LLC, a provider of premier learning solutions for IT professionals seeking certification, announced today the release of Boson NetSim® for CCNP 7.0. Boson NetSim Network Simulator™ software allows the user to build and test their own network.

Boson NetSim continues to set the quality standard in network simulation. The NetSim Virtual Packet Technology actually simulates the functions of the Cisco Internetworking Operating System (IOS®). This technology creates individual packets that are routed and switched through the simulated network, allowing the Boson NetSim to build an appropriate virtual routing table and simulate true networking.

Boson NetSim is the most realistic, current and comprehensive network simulator available. NetSim for CCNP 7.0 new features include support for IPv6 addressing, support for OSPFv3 using IPv6 addresses and multicasting configuration. With the addition of these features, NetSim for CCNP 7.0 fully incorporates the technologies covered in the BSCI exam for CCNP®. “We are excited to offer our new NetSim for CCNP 7.0; no other simulation product includes the new Internet Protocol standards for IPv6,” said Chad Altman, Senior Software Engineer.

The Boson NetSim for CCNP 7.0 is available online at www.boson.com, or you can call 877-333-EXAM (3926) for more information. Purchasers of NetSim for CCNP 7.0 will be entitled to a free upgrade as new technologies for BCMSN, ISCW and ONT are included. A complete upgrade policy is listed on the Boson Web site.
