Microsoft Certified IT Professional Preparation
About the MCITP Certification
The new Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) credentials enable credential enables professionals to highlight specific areas of expertise. It identifies the professional as an expert in database administration, database development, business intelligence, or support.
MCITP candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: SQL
Server 2005 certification (one exam). To obtain the MCITP a candidate must pass one or more of the following exams:
- MCITP: Consumer Support Technician (Two Exams Required)

- MCITP: Database Administrator (Two Exams Required)

- 70–444: PRO: Optimizing and Maintaining a Database Administration Solution by Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005
- MCITP: Enterprise Support Technician (Two Exams Required)
