About the CCNP Certification
The Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
certification is a series of four exams measuring advanced
knowledge of networks. The exams certify that the successful candidate
has important knowledge and skills necessary to select, connect,
configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices. In
addition to holding a valid CCNA certification, a candidate must pass
the following exams:
642-801 BSCI
642-811 BCMSN
642-821 BCRAN
642-831 CIT
Optionally, a candidate may choose to take the 642-891 Composite exam in place of the 642-801 BSCI and the 642-811 BCMSN.
