About the CCDA Exam
The Cisco Certified Design
Associate (CCDA) exam is the qualifying exam available to
candidates pursuing a single-exam option for the CCDA
certification. The CCDA exam (640-861) certifies that the
successful candidate has the foundational knowledge needed to design
for the Cisco Network Infrastructure. The exam covers such topics as
analysis, modeling, and planning of network architectures.
