About the CompTIA Security+® Certification
The
CompTIA Security+ certification tests the security knowledge of
individuals who possess two years of on-the-job networking experience
with an emphasis on security. The exam covers industry-wide
topics, including communication security, infrastructure security,
cryptography, access control, authentication, external attack, and
operational and organization security.
To obtain Security+ certification, a candidate must pass the Security+ exam, SY0-001.
