How to use the 640-802 Practice Exam
ExSim-Max
exam simulations are the best way to know when you are prepared for the real certification test. Explanations in our ExSim-Max products are not limited to explaining why the correct choice is correct; they contain explanations for all of the available choices. Knowing why the choice is correct or incorrect, will provide a better understanding of the concept.
Because the exam covers so many concepts, we have structured this product accordingly. ExSim-Max for Cisco 640-802 includes six individual simulations—twice as many as any other ExSim-Max product.
To benefit the most from our CCNA practice exam, we recommend that you first gain some hands-on experience either with physical equipment or with our NetSim
Network Simulator for CCNA (
CCNA labs are included with NetSim for CCNA).
Once you have a good understanding of CCNA-level skills and technologies, you are ready to take exam A (1 of 6) included in the ExSim-Max for Cisco 640-802 practice exam. If you pass the first exam on the first attempt, you are most likely ready to take the real exam. If you don’t pass the first time, we’ll help you figure out what you need to brush up on; ExSim-Max score reports will tell you what areas that you should study. Once you have studied up, you can take exam B to gauge your improvement. If you do not pass on your second attempt, do some more studying and then take exam C. We do recommend that you take all six exams included to get the full benefit of the product, even if you pass the first simulation, as this will give you even more confidence going into the real exam.
CCNA 640-802 Exam Info
The 640-802 CCNA composite exam is associated with the
CCNA certification. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium size enterprise branch network. The topics include connecting to a WAN; implementing network security; network types; network media; routing and switching fundamentals; the TCP/IP and OSI models; IP addressing; WAN technologies; operating and configuring IOS devices; extending switched networks with VLANs; determining IP routes; managing IP traffic with access lists; establishing point-to-point connections; and establishing Frame Relay connections.
The 640-802 exam is arguably the hardest Cisco exam because of the large number of concepts covered. This exam contains multiple question types, including simulation and multiple choice. Due to the limited amount of time that is given for you to complete the exam, it is essential that you know the topics and concepts targeted by the exam. For example, you should know the commands necessary to configure Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) on a router and understand how to calculate the range of addresses contained in a subnet.

My only Choice in Cisco Test Prep
1/20/2012 8:55:44 PM - Larry - Indianapolis, IN US
Boson really hits it out of the park with their cisco test prep. My CCNA exam was no different. I went out before with little prior prep and a lot of OTJ knowledge, and this test ripped me to shreds. I convinced my boss to purchase the Boson CCNA EX-SIM for me, and it could not have been money better spent. The practice exams drilled on my weak points, told me what I needed to study and where to find it. Within a couple weeks of test prep and study, I passed my CCNA with flying colors!
Thanks again to boson for making a top-notch product.
