About the MCSD CertificationThe Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) is a series of five exams. The exams certify that the successful candidate has important knowledge and skills necessary to develop enterprise solutions using Microsoft development tools and the Microsoft .NET Framework. To obtain the MCSD certification, a candidate must pass the following exams:
- Core Exams: Web or Windows Application Development (1)
- 70–305: Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic® .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio® .NET
or
70–315: Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual C#™ .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
- Core Exams: Windows Application Development (1)
- 70–306: Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Microsoft Visual Basic .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
or
