CCIE Certification Info

CCIE is one of the most respected high-level certifications. The CCIE exams certify that the successful candidate has the skills and experience necessary to handle the most difficult networking tasks. Candidates choose from one of the following tracks:

• CCIE Routing and Switching
• CCIE Security
• CCIE Service Provider
• CCIE Storage Networking
• CCIE Voice
• CCIE Wireless
  

Certification is a two-step process. The first step is to pass a rigorous written prequalification exam. Step two is a hands-on lab.

CCIE Certification Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for any CCIE certification track. However, candidates are encouraged to have a minimum of three to five years of experience before attempting certification.
