Service Provider Certification
The CCIP
® Certification has been retired and is being replaced with the new CCNP
® Service Provider (CCNP SP) certification.
Current CCIP certified individuals who wish to pursue a CCNP Service Provider certification will be required to pass the 642-887 Implementing Cisco Service Provider Next-Generation Core Network Services and 642-889 Implementing Cisco Service Provider Next-Generation Edge Network Services.
642-642 Implementing Cisco Quality of Service (QoS) exam will continue to be available for other certifications.
Several CCIP exams will apply as credit for the CCNP SP certification. See the chart below for details.
