ICND1 100-101 CCENT Training

100-101 Training

Redeem Learning Credits
This five-day course focuses on providing the skills and knowledge necessary to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small branch office Enterprise network, including configuring switches and routers, connecting to a WAN and implementing network security.

ICND1 works from the bottom up, providing knowledge and skills as they are needed. The course starts with an introduction to networks. It then introduces host-to-host communications using TCP/IP. Next, Layer 2 devices (switches) are introduced into the network. Finally, Layer 3 devices (routers) are introduced into the network. The introduction of Layer 3 devices leads to the use of WANs and routing to connect the site to the Internet and corporate sites. After completing this course, a student should be able to complete configuration and implementation of a small branch office network under supervision.

This course is presented using a combination of lecture and lab activities and incorporates all the material a student needs to pass the ICND1 exam and achieve the CCENT certification.

4 stars Pretty Good
2/4/2015 10:18:04 AM - Mark - Charlottesville, VA US

Course overall was pretty good. The course book seems to need a bit up updating and more consistency between some of the screen shots according to what our instructor said.

5 stars I am taking so much away from this class
8/29/2014 8:31:27 AM - Steve - Cleveland, OH US

Bryan was great. I could not have asked for a better teacher. I have learned so much from this class, and I feel very prepared to take the icnd1 test. I will be taking the second portion that is icnd2 in about a month and I look forward to it.

5 stars By far the best training I have had
8/29/2014 8:29:10 AM - Irving - Brewton, AL US

By far the best training I have had. Brian (Instructor) is fantastic. Will attend his classes again.

4 stars Very knowledgeable, provided great information for taking the exam.
1/24/2014 11:31:52 AM - Tammy - Woodbridge, VA US

Great material and good overall learning experience. They provide you with plenty of material after the class to help you achieve your goal in passing your exam.

The labs were excellent and provided on-hands experience which made the material even more interesting.

I think for beginners the classroom setting is more effective. In my case, after this experience I wish I had taken the course in a classroom setting. The momentum of the class became a little overwhelming at times. This was my reasoning for taking this course and not the boot camp so that I could split the material into two parts and not be overcome with too much information at once. I know that I learned a lot from taking this course and I'll know what to look for when taking the course for the ICND2.

The course material was a tremendous help in my learning process and with the aid of the practice exams, I feel confident that with putting my best efforts into this I hope to pass the exam the first time.

5 stars Really enjoyed the class.
9/20/2013 11:56:49 AM - Byran - Fort Benning, GA US

My understanding of INCD1 increased drastically. Bryan was very professional. His competence and social skill allowed me to understand and stay attentive to the information provided.
