YAY it works
3/31/2012 2:50:03 PM - Bryan - Battle Creek, MI US
I was looking at this for a long time before i decided to buy. Tried GNS3 but it does not work well with switches. I am half way through the CCNA labs and it seems to be pretty good. One small bug seems to be at very random times the IOS will get confused at which level you are at, so you will have to exit out of the IOS and back in with enable / config t, and some times it will not expand commands that exist like "sho ip int bri", BUT that could also be my setup, I am running this in XP hosted on a Linux box via Oracle virtual box, have not tried to get this running through wine, but it works great in windows.

Great companion to the CCNA Exam
3/5/2012 9:46:24 PM - Joshua - Monett, MO US
I did not have the money for a full CCNA lab. This program was an excellent companion to the CCNA OCG guide(ICND1 and 2). The included labs helped solidify and re-inforce the concepts and give me that much needed CLI practice. Definitely recommend for passing the CCNA and becoming a CLI ninja.

Best of the Sims
2/19/2012 5:26:08 PM - Rick - Fayville, MA US
I have tried a few Sims during my studies and the Boson NetSim platform offered the best flexibilty as far as the different labs structures as well as an easy interface when setting up your own networks for lab work. I'll be sure to use it for further Cisco cert studies.
