5 stars Fantastic product, pays for itself

I had completed the official course, AIO, SkillSet Pro 100%, and Transcender yet still felt like it was 50/50 shot of passing first attempt.

I found Reddit posts from BosonMichael about Boson practice exam and how to use it to make sure I passed and it worked!

5 stars Must have self training app for anyone, who wish to attend CEH course and exam

Hello,

I've decided to use ExSim-Max for CEH after many positive feedbacks, that I found on tech communities, related to CEH certification and bought ExSim-Max for CEH v9.

I can say, that questions are well organized, all questions have good explanations even with additional supplementary links.

In the end I was able to successfully complete CEH exam with 88/100.

I am a long time boson user, admittedly i havent used them is many many years but i am happy to say their product quality has not diminished over time.

I would like to be clear up front, if you think you can simply memorize all the questions and pass the test you are mistaken. That isnt the premise of what the product offering is or the intended use. However, if you take the time to read, understand and remember all the explanations (be warned it is alot of material) you will pass the test. All the information you could possibly need is right there in the explanations. To put it in perspective i think i got a 386 on the first test as an indicator of how far i needed to go. This was after taking a $10 udemy course that was horrible but i did learn a few things. I simply buckled down and started reading answers thoroughly. Not only answering the right question but also reminding myself why other answers were not right. You will eventually get to a point where you know you know the stuff, sure not 100% but you know it very well.

Fast forward to test day. I would say half the questions were similar, a quarter were clearly conceptually on point and about a quarter were just to me, odd. Same principles but just plan what i would call goofy answers. There were a handful that i know i got right not because i knew the answer but because i know that all the other option were wrong.

With patience, diligence and putting in the effort, boson is all you need.

5 stars Don't bother with any other test SIM. Boson is all you need.

After reading CEH Certified Ethical Hacker All-in-One Exam Guide -Third Edition by Matt Walker, I used Boson ExSim-Max to practice testing. The book comes with an excellent test sim but I felt like I needed more practice and went with Boson.
The Boson test questions are well written and tests your understanding of the subject on multiple levels per question. The answers not only explain the correct answer, they go into details on why the other answers are incorrect and provide references should you need additional reading.
Although the test real test is 4 hours long, it took me little over 1 hour to answer all questions. I spent the rest of the time reviewing questions that I wasn't so sure of.
I was able to pass the real test on my first try with Boson's help. I would definitely use Boson again.
