My first of many reviews:
It is a awesome LAB. The new look and feel for NetSim 8 is much better than the previous verssion, everything is in one window, no more multiple windows. The instructions are clear on what to do within the LAB environment. The LAB starts with a few simple things on the Access Layer and the Distribution Layer. Boson left half of the LAB incomplete and the other half is completed so that you can see an existing example of how it should look at the end. (it helps a lot with referencing)
It is a great method of getting the "feel" of a real environment. I can say with 100% confidence that the this LAB vs Real-World is on the dot. The way you go about in troubleshooting is great, it feels real and complete. At the end of the LAB, you can view what the configuration should look like, and the LAB can be graded, nice feature, it does indicate what was missing on the LAB.

Simulations are the core of Cisco's ROUTE/SWITCH/TSHOOT exams. Time spent working through simulations will directly relate to your performance on the exams. The CCNP 8.0 NetSim is very similar to the actual exam environment.

This is the second version of the CCNP NetSim that I have used, and I was not disappointed. I work with Cisco hardware as a network security analyst on a daily basis, and this simulator not only helped me with the exam, but assisted me with practice scenarios for working on production equipment as well.
Kudo's to the Boson Team...I will continue using Boson software for all of my exam prep and simulation needs!
