Customer Support Specialist - Nashville, TN - Apply Now


The Customer Support Specialist responds to inbound customer inquiries about the purchase and use of Boson Software products via phone, e-mail, support tickets and online messages. This position will place orders, issue credits and research and resolve customer issues.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first-contact customer support to ensure satisfaction with and effective use of Boson products.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with a diverse customer base.
  • Learn and retain knowledge of Boson products and how they benefit the customer.
  • Process customer transactions using in-house e-commerce system.
  • Receive and respond to inbound sales and information queries.
  • Identify, research and quickly resolve reported product issues.
  • Assist customers with establishing accounts and completing orders using various purchase methods.

Skills/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two years of relatable work experience, ideally customer service or technical support.
  • Comfortable speaking with our international customers on the phone; strong written communications skills.
  • Must enjoy working with people and proactively solving problems.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office products. Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Office Environment

We have two offices - one located in Nashville, TN and the other in Tampa, FL. The Nashville office houses our Business Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and Content teams. The Tampa office is the home to our Software Development and Training teams. Some departments such as Customer Support and Sales are spread across both locations.

Work hours for most positions are flexible. Whether you are an early bird or night owl we have a place for you. We are also set up for occasional remote work. If you need to meet a contractor at your house or are feeling a bit under the weather and don’t want to share your germs, don’t worry about it.

We believe in collaboration but also feel you should have a space to retreat to. All employees in our newly renovated Nashville office have a dedicated office to themselves – no cubicles! Not to worry, when it comes time for teamwork, we have state of the art conference rooms and more casual meeting spaces.
